Protecting candidates from recruitment website fraud
The world of recruitment is as prone to risk and fraud as any other, but recruitment website design is the latest area in which recruitment agencies are finding themselves on the back foot. Fraudsters are using recruitment platforms, and even designing their own websites, to create online vacancies to obtain personal information from candidates. While the best recruitment websites are hard to fake, there’s no doubt that the scammers are skilled in creating fake sites. Action Fraud is reporting a rise in recruitment scams, with people being exploited either through false adverts on reputable job websites or through follow up messages sent on Whatsapp to persuade people to hand over personal details such as passport information and bank details. While the Recruitment and Employment Confederation has reiterated that its members would never ask candidates for payment to obtain work, it’s up to recruiters to ensure that their website for recruitment is secure and contains clear information about what they will, and won’t ask candidates in their search for employment.

New Features and Improvements

Today we released a system update that contains some new features and improvements to Recruit So Simple. Here are the highlights:
- Added a draft emails feature so that emails can be saved and then completed later.
- The candidate reference numbers can now be fully customised.
- Added an easy way to duplicate a job record.
- Made it much quicker to reassign records to someone else.
- Increased the number of IP addresses allowed for access control.
- Removed the Google+ social media profile field from records following the closure of this service last year.
- Made various security and performance improvements to keep things running smoothly and securely.

Recent Improvements To Our Recruitment Software

We added some new features and made some improvements to Recruit So Simple over the course of 2019, here are the highlights:
- Made it easier to customise the list of fields which must be filled out when a record is added to the database.
- Added a new type of goal in the system which can be used to track the performance of a group of consultants.
- Added a new toolbar to make navigating between recently viewed records much quicker and easier.
- Overhauled our CV parsing system resulting in better performance, higher accuracy, increased language support, and many, many more improvements under the hood.
- Made various security and performance improvements to keep things running smoothly and securely.
